The following are our terms and conditions. By using this site and / or our services you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Service Limitations: Layer Seven offers advanced travel services, including but not limited to faster-than-light travel and multiversal travel. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our services, we cannot guarantee the absolute safety, legality, or feasibility of travel to any specific destination within the multiverse. All travel is undertaken at your own risk. Any modifications or alterations to travel routes or timelines are not subject to refund or compensation.
2. Protection of Trade Secrets: You agree to protect the trade secrets of Layer Seven. In particular, be careful not to reveal your origin. Layer Seven is, as best as we can determine, the first to develop cross multiverse travel technology and if your destination Universe becomes wise to that, they may detain you in the hope of learning more about this technology. This can be devastating to the Trade Secrets of Layer Seven. At the very least, it will severely hinder your enjoyment of your new life.
3. No Guarantee of Optimal or Best Universe: Due to the costs and resources required to do Universe searches, it is not possible for Layer Seven to find the best or optimal Universe, and Layer Seven is not obligated to do an exhaustive search. Layer Seven is only obligated to provide a destination Universe that meets the specifications agreed to in the Transportation Contract between the traveller and Layer Seven.
4. Cultural Integration: Layer Seven provides guidance on cultural norms and practices at your destination. You will have received another booklet with information as up to date as possible on the culture of your destination. However, these guidelines are not exhaustive and may not encompass all variations within the local culture. Furthermore, cultural practices can evolve rapidly; therefore, we advise staying informed through local channels and engaging with community resources. Layer Seven shall not be held liable for any misunderstandings, cultural faux pas, or any resulting consequences arising from your interactions with local residents or other travelers.
5. Compliance with Local Laws: It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with and comply with all local laws, regulations, and customs at your destination. This includes but is not limited to regulations surrounding interspecies interactions, dimensional travel restrictions, and the possession of artifacts or substances that may be deemed illegal in specific universes. Layer Seven disclaims any liability for actions taken or not taken by travelers that may result in legal repercussions, including fines, detention, or extradition. In some jurisdictions, some or all of the Redundancy Conversion and Residue Ablution activities required to complete your integration, could be illegal. You are solely responsible for your actions and possible interactions with law enforcement over such activities. Layer Seven is not able to provide further assistance, particularly if you get into legal trouble.
6. Integration Capsule: The Integration Capsule is yours to keep, including any of the tools and supplies you might not need to accomplish your Redundancy Conversion and Resolution Ablution goals. However, as under Compliance with Local Laws, and just like the conversion activities, your local jurisdiction might consider some of the items in your Integration Capsule, illegal in their jurisdiction, and the same terms and warnings apply. In addition, as under Protection of Trade Secrets, you should take steps to keep the Integration Capsule and its contents a secret, or if you feel you will not need it or any of its contents in the future, have it and its contents destroyed or otherwise dispose of these items.
7. Health and Safety: Layer Seven cannot guarantee the health and safety conditions of any destination, particularly those in alternate dimensions or universes. Travelers may encounter unknown pathogens, environmental hazards, or other unforeseen dangers. We strongly recommend that travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering health issues and consult with relevant health professionals regarding vaccinations or medications appropriate for their destination. Additionally, be aware of any specific health advisories related to the destination prior to travel. Pathogens in your new Universe could be significantly different than your body is used to and it will have to adapt. Expect to be sick for a while. For your first few months, you should be extra vigilant about hygiene and sanitation. Be alert to differences in body chemistry of your new home versus your original one. Your body might not be able to assimilate the nutrients in local food. Determining the suitability of nourishment and supplements is the responsibility of the traveller and Layer Seven is not responsible for poor choices made by the traveller, even if those choices result in illness or death and even if Layer Seven is advised of such possibilities. You will find a small supply of food in your Integration Capsule which should last until you find a way to obtain nourishment. The traveller should plan accordingly.
8. Physical Differences: Inhabitants of your destination and more specifically, your Alternate Self, may have different physical attributes from the origin Universe. It is the responsibility of the traveller to be flexible and be able to adapt to such differences. For example, if your alternate self is ten centimeters taller or shorter, it can be difficult to explain the change in height and the traveller may need to discretely collect the assets of the alternate self and move to a location where the alternate self has no acquaintances who might question the change in physical attributes. Layer Seven is not responsible for managing such logistics and that is the sole responsibility of the traveller. Layer Seven is not responsible for any costs incurred by the traveller to implement such logistics.
9. No Return or Communication: The traveller understands that as specified in the Transportation Contract, Section 853, Paragraph 97, the sole responsibility of Layer Seven is to provide Universe search and transportation services to the destination Universe. Layer Seven is not responsible for providing return travel as the technology for such travel has not been developed at the present time. In addition, Layer Seven is unable and not obligated to provide cross Universe communication and the traveller understand that no such communication will be forthcoming. Due to the lack of communication technologies, Layer Seven will provide the traveller with the Integration Capsule which contains a wide array of supplies to assist the traveller in survival, integration and assimilation at the destination.
10. Force Majeure: Layer Seven shall not be liable for any delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by natural disasters, interdimensional anomalies, political unrest, or other events beyond our control. Such events may include but are not limited to space-time rifts, rogue temporal agents, or cosmic phenomena. We reserve the right to alter itineraries or cancel travel plans in such circumstances without prior notice, and we shall make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements where possible. The traveller understands that travel technology is not perfect and has a component risk, including arriving at a destination other than the one intended.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Layer Seven, its affiliates, employees, agents, and other travelers from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your travel, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, or any breach of these terms. This indemnification extends to any claims arising from your failure to disclose relevant medical conditions or risks.
12. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Layer Seven be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your travel or the use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of income, emotional distress, or damage to reputation. The maximum liability of Layer Seven shall not exceed the total amount paid for the travel services rendered.
13. Jurisdiction and Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Multiversal Travel District of Layer Seven, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Multiversal Courts. You hereby consent to the jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objection to the convenience of venue in such proceedings.
14. Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This means that all other terms will continue to apply without being affected by any invalid provisions.
15. Amendments: Layer Seven reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically to remain informed of any updates or modifications.
16. Acknowledgement By proceeding with your travel arrangements through Layer Seven, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer in its entirety.
